Fall In for PT,

My name is Rob Harris.
As your Adventure fitness instructor I would like to welcome you to Ottawa’s Only Adventure Boot Camp for Women and give you a brief overview about my background and fitness.

Through out my life I have been involved in sports, including high school athletics, XC running, and weight training on a daily basis plus fun activities such as snowshoeing, XC skiing, canoeing and parachuting. After high school I took my passion for fitness to a new level and joined the Canadian Forces and worked my way up to a Sergeant in the RCR’s. My athletic background combined with my experience as an Airborne NCO made a career in fitness a natural fit.

After fifteen years of competitive racing, triathlon and ski biathlon courses, I have now slowed down to running marathons and instructing XC skiing. I love training in the outdoors, a gym without walls or restrictions, all my exercises are naturally functional and relate to real life situations.

Now I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Adventure Boot Camp Instructor. I also am a Certified Fitness Consultant with OASES, Ymca Personal Trainer and a CanFitPro Health and Wellness consultant. I believe anyone can be fit if they make the right nutritional choices, exercise in moderation, be consistent in training and get adequate rest.

I truly enjoy helping women achieve strength, endurance, self confidence and an overall sense of well being and happiness. I believe being fit is possible at any age and happiness and self confidence come from the inside.

At Ottawa Adventure Boot Camp you will achieve a new level of fitness and I promise to be there to motivate, mentor, coach, push, pull and make you laugh and have fun every step of the way. My wife Johanne and I want to help you achieve your fitness goals today.
